1. Do you have a retail shop?
At this time, we do not have a retail shop with inventory to pull from. All cakes, cookies and cupcakes are freshly made for every custom order.
2. Do you deliver cakes?
Unfortunately, we do not deliver cakes. On occasion, we do however offer delivery within the city of Toronto. Delivery fees may apply (based on the distance).
3. What form of payment do you accept?
We prefer email transfers (EMT). We also accept cash and most major credit cards.
4. Are tastings available? If so, are they free?
Yes, cake tastings and in-person consultations are available for wedding cakes and larger events for CAD 25. The tastings must be arranged at least a week in advance and are only for 2 people. Fees may apply for additional people.
Over the phone consultations are however free of charge but may have to be scheduled.
5. Do I need to leave a deposit at the tasting?
No, you do not need/have to leave a deposit at the tasting. However, your deposit holds your date, so the sooner the better!
6. How much is the deposit for custom cakes?
The deposit is 50% of the total cost of the cake and delivery (if applicable).
7. Is my deposit refundable?
If you cancel 7 days in advance of the event you can have a full refund of your deposit.
Occasionally, our schedule allows a “last minute” custom cake order. In the case of custom cakes ordered within 5 days of the event, full payment is expected at the time of ordering which is non-refundable.
8. How far in advance should I order my custom cake?
Ideally, the sooner the better. For wedding cakes or multi-tiered cakes, we ask for at least 3 months’ notice. For smaller events, 10 days notice is sufficient. Orders within 1 week of the event are dependent on availability.
